Pallett’s latest album Island (2020) has been described by NPR Music as a “celestial, cosmic opera.” Pallett’s orchestral arrangement and production work includes clients as diverse as Frank Ocean, Caribou, The Last Shadow Puppets, The National, The Mountain Goats, Christine and the Queens, R.E.M., Linkin Park, Sigur Rós, Superchunk, Taylor Swift, and Pet Shop Boys. Owen co-wrote the Academy Award-nominated score for Spike Jonze’s Her, and wrote the scores for Matt Wolf’s Spaceship Earth, Jerrod Carmichael’s On the Count of Three, Mary Nighy’s Alice, Darling, and Sølve Sundsbø’s Fourteen Actors Acting, for which Pallett received an Emmy award.
