CUDÙ – Neck – LP – UL05

Wow, this is a great find! Keeps surprising with highly passionate rhythms. Cool post-punk and distantly noise rock style, some no wave and “jazzcore” feel (there’s sax too), but instead it’s all the way catchy, kind of like avant-prog dance-punk… somewhere between Deathrock, Psychobilly, Free Jazz and Funk Rock, a bit like Už Jsme Doma on the A-side. However, it’s not just pure energy, but more mellow stylish art rock darkness in those songs. Goes too lethargic and gritty on the B-side for me though, kind of anxiously intoxicated punk blues malaria fever. Still good.
