Not the most original of group names, but behind it hide three excellent Portuguese musicians: João Pedro Viegas, Paulo Chagas, and Paulo Curado. They all have mastered several wind instruments: flutes, clarinets, saxophones, even the oboe. The CD’s 11 tracks explore various harmonic interplays and assemblages of extended techniques, but also melodies and ensemble playing. Arid at times, but often beautiful.
