Paulo Carapeto and José Soares meet.
At ESMAE – in Porto – the concept is born.
In 1998 the first album – “Boiar 113” – is released, followed by “The Adventures of God on Earth” in 2001.
Then, the sound spread from the República do Prakistão (Coimbra) to Berlin.
In the way, portuguese label Borland compiled a couple of tracks for a release, there’s a soundtrack for the movie “The Tulse Luper Suitcase”, part of a broader project by the same name by Peter Greenaway.
From the composition for the play “Freiheit” seen in Leipzig, Torgau and Berlin, they slide to the recreation of the myth “Faust”: a prologue for 202 hours of recordings.
Presently, with João Santos e João Ricardo (aka ocp), the re-founded concept floats through other dimensions with images by video artist Hugo Olim.
