Bleak House is a free improvisation trio whose members I had never heard of before: Dag-Filip Roaldsnes, piano; Kim-Erik Pedersen, alto sax; Tore T. Sandbakken, drums. European-style free improv with a jazzy backbone reminiscent of Lennie Tristano. Short pieces, well executed, on the quiet side. “Trio for Morton Feldman” is particularly successful.
