The album marks the first collection of new material since 2010’s A Paean to Wilson. It also signals a symbolic return to origins, carrying a Factory Too catalogue number in collaboration with Oli Wilson, continuing the legacy of Factory Records. Visually, Renascent reunites the band with original Factory design collaborators, Mark Holt and Hamish Muir of 8vo, whose artwork mirrors the music’s balance of modernist precision and romantic warmth through rich, sensuous colour.
