1) Products

All prices are quoted in Euros. If the price quoted on the e-shop is incorrect and the true price is lower than that quoted we will charge you the lower price. If the true cost is higher than the quoted price we will either inform you of the true cost and await your confirmation of your order at the higher price or inform you that we cannot accept your order and let you know the reasons for such cancellation. All sizes, weights and capacities of the goods given on the e-shop are approximate, but we individually weigh each item before putting it on the e-shop to provide a fair and precise shipping cost estimate. We have made every effort to reproduce colours as accurately as possible on the e-shop, but please be aware that the actual colours you see on the screen may differ to those of your ordered products. If this is in any way a disappointment when you recieve your items, please notify us as soon as possible and we will do all we can to remedy the situation.

2) Taxes

All the prices are final for public sale and they include the Portuguese VAT (Value Added Tax) charged at 6% for books, magazines and similar or 21% for all the other items. This tax can be deducted by some Portuguese customers, according with the national laws. For other European Union countries the tax is also included in the final price, but it can not be deducted by the customer. For the rest of ther world the prices are net, but VAT will not be part of it. Please note that some ex-EU customers may find their orders subject to import duties and taxes, which may be levied once a delivery reaches its destination country. We have no control over additional customs charges, so these charges are to be paid by the customer. Every delivery includes a valid invoice.

3) Orders

To place an order you will need to register some personal details. When concluded the order you will be ask to choose the shipping and the payment methods. Payment can be sent using PayPal (paypal.com) or your own bank. PayPal lets you send money to us using your PayPal balance, bank account, or credit card. All the details collected by third part companies are exclusivelly of their responsability. Having successfully placed an order you will receive an e-mail from us confirming, among other things, receipt and the details of your order. Please check the confirmatory e-mail and notify us immediately of any errors. A follow-up e-mail will then be sent once the goods have been dispatched to you, and it is only at this point in time that we accept your offer, are bound to fulfil it and a contract is formed. Otherwise, if any item you have requested is out of stock we will notify you by e-mail to know if you wish to kept and be informed as soon as it becomes available again.

4) Security

To ensure the security of all relevant and personal data, all payments are processed through a secure server. This system encrypts your details to ensure that they should not be read by anyone else when transmitted over the Internet. The "https://" before the web address and the padlock icon at the browser window are security signals to indicate that you are in a secure area of the site. Beiond security we are committed to preserving your privacy, so any information we collect about you will only be used in accordance with the legal standards. We will not pass information onto third parties, unless under your prior permission.

5) Shipping

The charge for packing and post of all the orders sent to Portugal, Europe and the rest of the world is based on weight. To simplify we have designed a matrix that includes the basic options for our customers. We aim to dispatch all items within 2 working days of accepting your order, and delivery times should grow up according with the shipping method (signed delivery is faster) and destination. Please note that not signed delivery is not secured or guaranteed. Signed delivery will therefore require a signature upon receipt. When the order is delivered the customer should check if it has any exterior damage and, if this happens, should immediately demand the opening in presence and may refuse to receive it from the carrier if damages heve been confirmed.

6) Cancellation

If you wish to cancel an order please e-mail us as swiftly as possible. If the goods have already been dispatched you will need to wait by the return to us. Then we will refund you the total payment excluding any shipment and return costs, or any other associated with the cancelation. For damaged goods the return action should be started within 14 days of receipt. If a substitution will not be possible, our responsability will be to full refound you, provided that the complaint is just, justified and accepted.

7) Liability

As long as its use and conservation are appropriate, the supplied goods have a minimum guarantee of two years, but this does not cover normal damages by use, or any other claiming for associated responsabilities: we will not be liable for any business loss (including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure) or any other indirect or consequential loss that is not reasonably foreseeable by either party when the contract for sale is formed.
